A Tyrant's Garden

Stasi minister Erich Mielke’s back garden in the Wandlitz settlement outside East Berlin. Wandlitz was known locally as “the Kremlin,” because it was surrounded by a high concrete wall, fitted with video surveillance cameras, and guarded round the clock.
